This guitar was built in the famous Jose Ramirez workshop, which for over half a century has produced instruments performed on by countless professionals from Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening.
We are very happy to say that these are among the best new Ramírez guitars we've seen in many years. They are truly outstanding performance instruments by any standard. The "1a Tradicional" has all the color and warmth that we normally associate with a great Ramírez, with a playability more like the Madrid guitars of the 1950s. It appears that Ramírez has gone back to basics and given us a first class concert guitar which anyone can play easily. Also, this guitar has a new rosette and purfling which are absolutely stunning. For attention to detail, quality of construction and sound, we rate this instrument very highly.
