Description

Robert Ruck is one of the most recognized names today in the USA and has had a very prolific career, having built over a thousand instruments to date. Easily the most famous player of Ruck guitars is Manuel Barrueco on most of his classic recordings. This instrument in fact was built for, and originally owned by Manuel Barrueco, and included with the guitar is a signed letter from Barrueco to this effect. It is masterfully made with well-selected materials, and features two soundports in the upper area of the sides. It has very a firm and solid tone, each note feels deeply anchored to its fundamental while the hum of the higher partials adds a beautiful texture to the body of the sound. Rucks are also known for having plenty of volume and this one lives up to this reputation with ease and could fill a large concert hall with minimal effort from the player. Condition is excellent - overall a fantastic instrument.
