This is a great Fleta from 1992 which was built for the great guitar personality Norbert Kraft, who was its original owner. Norbert is known not only as a great player whose recordings are familiar to many, but also for his incomparable role as producer and artistic director for Naxos Records' "Guitar Collection". Along with his wife (and co-producer) Bonnie Silver, over 70 classical guitar recordings have been created under their supervision since 1994. Included with the guitar are several documents from both Fleta and Kraft affirming this provenance.
This particular Fleta has all the elements that one could possibly want from one of their top examples - tremendous power, perfect balance, deep warm tone and ample clarity between voices in all registers. This guitar exhibits these qualities with great, bold style. Condition is completely original with no cracks or repairs, only mild and respectful playing wear.
Fleta guitars have been played by many of the worlds finest players over the past half century, from this instruments' first owner Norbert Kraft as well as such top legends as Andres Segovia, Angel Romero, John Williams, Turibio Santos, Alirio Diaz, and Marcelo Kayath, among others. This is an extremely powerful and bold Fleta from a great period, very desirable to both the collector and performer alike for its great sound and provenance.
